Beyond Bricks & Bars
We are a trans community led decarceration project. Decarceration means getting people out of prison and supporting them to stay out.
We support criminalised trans and gender diverse people who are in prison or in the community.
“Just to feel valued as a human being and as a trans woman and accepted as who I am. And understanding that not everyone hated me, just for being who I was. And providing me with that support and security and that sense of value.”
